The onset of holiday season giving never ceases to amaze us here at MVOC. Throughout this month we owe thanks to so many:
- The VFW Auxiliary provided us with 250 pairs of socks, two totes of food, and a bag of Marine Corps logo clothing
- The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation dropped off buckets full of winter gear for our veterans: winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and more!
- Gardner Elks Lodge 1426 hosted a veterans day observance honoring all those who served and rededicating themselves to their mission of caring for veterans.

Thank you to Dawn Wright for bringing by clothing and food donations from the Auxiliary! Pictured from left to right are: MVOC President & Founder Cathy McWilliams, MVOC Executive Director Stephanie Marchetti, and Dawn Wright.

Lots of folks contributed to the creation of these “Winter Buckets,” created for both male and female veterans.
In addition to that, the Greater Gardner community helped us to provide over 100 veterans and veteran families with Thanksgiving meals!
- The Northeast Bowhunter group stopped in with 39 turkeys and over $1,000 in grocery gift cards just in time for Thanksgiving, and Salvadore Auto stopped by with turkeys as well, helping us reach our goal of supporting 65 veteran families with full Thanksgiving meal kits
- Cornerstone Community Church put together 81 premade Thanksgiving meals for veterans that did not need/want to cook a full meal for themself.
- Pictured here are members of the Northeast Bowhunter Group with MVOC Executive Director Stephanie Marchetti.
We are able to do the work we do with the help of so many, and we don’t take that for granted!
