MVOC has our sights set on expansion. We have acquired the vacant Streeter and Poland School buildings in Winchendon, MA and will be repurposing them into low-income apartments for veterans- and we need your help! Within this housing project, 44 new veteran apartments will be created. Veterans in these apartments will have access to long-term, supportive housing designed to age with them, and access to all other MVOC supports.
We have been hard at work on this project for over 4 years, partnering with Anser Advisory and Barbara Sokoloff & Associates to assist us in secure funding and plans, Jones Whittsett Architects to design the buildings, and the veteran-led Commodore Builders to lead construction. We have secured funding from both private and state sources and are now looking to you to help us reach the finish line for our funding goal and keep us on track for with the planned fall 2024 ground-breaking.
