If you have a desire to be a part of an organization that helps Veterans you may want to consider volunteering for the MVOC.
Volunteer opportunities are periodically available available:
- Handyman/Landscaper – Help maintain our housing and outreach facilities by performing low-level interior and exterior maintenance and repairs. Must have some demonstrated handyman/maintenance experience or qualifications. A valid MA driver’s license and clean driving record very helpful. Snow removal experience also a plus.
- Activities / Administrative Support- MVOC may have opportunities for those who would like to assist at activities or special events. Use of office equipment and computer skills are helpful. Good communication and people skills required.
All Volunteers must supply a resume, provide references, pass a security / criminal background check, and meet client privacy/confidentiality requirements. If interested in learning more, please contact MVOC at 978-632-9601.
The goal of the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center is to provide quality services to all eligible veterans regardless of when, where, and how long they served. The MVOC will continue to advocate for equal rights for veterans with respect to housing, health care, and education and career training. The MVOC provides support to military veterans and their families in need of services to develop a resilient, self-sufficient lifestyle essential to succeed in today’s social environment. The MVOC is 501(c)3 private, non-profit organization, not directly affiliated with any government agency.
